My HP wireless keyboard has stopped working, right after I replaced the monitor. The wireless mouse has not stopped working.
The keyboard hit the aquarium cabinet and sort of fell apart. Be cautious when you connect your keyboard in your computer as they can bend and break. I even re-installed the driver but the keyboard remains dead.

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and my wireless keyboard is no longer working. Unlike others with similar problems, my mouse is working fine. The keyboard for the laptop works fine this is how I am typing this question. I have replaced the batteries and tried reconnecting the wireless connection without success. I am using a Logitech mouse and keyboard with a single receiver plugged into USB on laptop. I have uninstalled and reloaded drivers for wireless keyboard and mouse. There is no indication in Device Manager that there is anything wrong with the Keyboard or Mouse. Since the mouse is working fine, I don't understand why the keyboard does not. I typed Troubleshooting as advised and hit enter. When I did, nothing happens. Eventually, I opened Settings and typed troubleshoot in the search bar and hit enter. Under Hardware and sound, I selected Configure a device. This pulled up a box where I was able to run a Troubleshoot on Hardware and Devices. This also shows up as an issue in my Device Manager. I am unsure that this is the cause to my problem however. I am using a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse with a single Logitech receiver plugged into a USB port on the laptop and the mouse is working fine. I also have a 10 port USB hub plugged into USB port 2 on the laptop. Nothing is plugged into the third port on the laptop. Fortunately, I had a wired mouse which I could use to finish the upgrade to Windows 10. I would have been in big trouble otherwise. But, now, with no keyboard, I need some suggested solutions that will only require a mouse! At the same time, Windows 10 kept telling me that the correct driver was installed. In the end, I chose to manually install the driver and I discovered that there were two! When I chose the second which Windows 10 never tried to install both worked immediately.
